Forsakenby CalliopeKelComment: This is beautiful. I love the softness of it. The old rusty red roof amidst the green and blue is stunning. The natural frame of the trees is spot on. I like the long shadows on the grass too. Perfect sky color. Those clouds couldn't be any better if you hand drew them yourself! Great job. |

Distant rumblings ... Ominous warning!by banditComment: Oh this is amazing. The two swans and the plane! Wow. You couldn't have staged a better shot. The sky is unbelievable. The yellow of the plain amidst all of that blue really makes a statement. This may be one of my favs of the competition - and there are some good ones. Way to go. |

Bunny-Hop! (20mm on DLSR)by smellyfish1002Comment: If this weren't so tack sharp, I'd almost say it had too much of a snapshot sense. But it's fun and well executed. I love the perspective. Now tell that girl to go wash off her feet. LOL
Thanks for the smile. 7 |

"up and down those backroad highways"by fotodudeComment: Very pretty, but I don't think the glow filter works here. It blurs it out too much. I like the colors of the sky, but the trees are so dark. Hmmmm - maybe save this for shots where it really accents the shot. The perspective is good. The leading line is effctive - maybe too centered though. Overall, a nice beginning - keep at it! ;~) |

The Long Island Coastby APComment: Oh one of my favs. Love the muted plum and gray/blue sky. The birds are a wonderful added dimension. The clouds - spot on. Great image!!! 10 |

Angels of Chicagoby JohnTFComment: I'm enjoying all of the panoramas of America. This is no exception. Very nice. My one critique might be to richen up the sky color. The sculpture fo the left is a nice grounding force. |

Twilight on Main Streetby rjksteschComment: Great reflection. I love that we are seeing it on the ground and not up above. I don't know if it's the angle, but it seems just slightly tilted to me. No default for it - just a comment. 7 |

Almost Fallby dahkotaComment: I love the glow filter, but I don't think it is utilized to its fullest here. I think it would work better if you had more colorin the trees. The lake water is pretty. The shadow to the left is interesting. Overall though, it's just too dark. Keep trying though. ;~) |
