This is interesting. I don't see it as much as backlit but light from one direction. But having said that, it's still a pretty image. I think it might be a bit more pleasing if you weren't under her chin, but more to the side on an even plain. Since she has a rather prominent lower jaw area, the angle accentuates that. I like the lighting alhtough it's a tad harsh above her right eye.

I like this. It almost borders on a silhouette, but with the dog being black, that makes it kind of hard. I wish you could have dodged the eyes a touch. Lovely perspective and the view is killer. If you could just adjust the curves on everything but the dog, it'd really give it some pop, but with basic editing, no go. Overall - I like it. 7

I'd like this much more if the orange at the bottom were gone. It kind of pulls the rest of the image down. I like the pink of the glass.
