This was a pick of mine from the start. We had much discussion of it in the jury pool. The tones. The almost ghostly feel! Congrats on your HM! I'd print it on canvas (really big) and hang it on the wall.

Now that the Jury Awards have been announced, I can truly comment. This really struck me from the start. I was amazed that this could be done in a photograph without "breaking the rules" editing. Congrats on your HM. There was much discussion about it and it was one of my picks from early on.

I love the frame, the crop, the whole thing. It has such an intensity of not only story, but tones. It truly compelled me. During the jury discussions, there were questions as to whether it was staged or not. I said, no, that it was pure happenstance. I hope I was right. Either way, it was one of my tops from the very beginning. Congrats on your 2nd award!
