Refraction Of Light (January 9, 2013)by GolferDDSComment: Gonna be difficult and say that's not refraction inside or outside the box - but it's a wonderful hummingbird photo nonetheless. We have Ruby-throated Hummers and I've snapped hundreds of photos but never got a layering of throat feathers against the body like this. Great capture. Processing is so-so (a little too cool, desaturated and low contrast), but you can be proud. 6 |

Peepingby NichtComment: I somehow wish the sides meshed better, because it's an interesting pair of images that cause my eyes to play tennis rather than just take it in. As is I can't look at it for more than a second or two before my head hurts. A good idea not quite executed. |
