The dark portions seem just a bit too dark, causing the impression that the waterfall was lit from within. Wouldn't some lightening of the mid-tones look more realistic?

I can see that the furthest two rows of trees have a very slight blue or blue/green color cast to them, while the rest of the image is neutral. The effect works visually rather well in a B/W image to give increased contrast. An interesting technique worth investigation.

I like this image. If there was a way to show more detail in the buildings on the left, I'd like it more.

A pleasing photo, not atypical of those I enjoy here at DPC. Unless I'm mistaken, there's no land in this image. If the tide is out, that's a clean beach!

I like these kinds of images - almost abstract - that have a range of tones displayed in an increasing order. Your title asks me to find the subject, though, as it is not the initial interest object. I can see banding in the sky, though it may be accentuated by my economonitor...

Very pleasing range of tones here. I appreciate the natural look that doesn't insist on very dark black and white images.

An amazing amount of detail in this image. I'm pleased that there is so much to see and you've made it possible to do so.

Very nice range of tones; looks tilted, though.

I admire the range of tones captured in your image, particularly in the way that the trees really stand out to demonstrate your title.
