Suddenly, there was this drop off....by david_cComment: The dark portions seem just a bit too dark, causing the impression that the waterfall was lit from within. Wouldn't some lightening of the mid-tones look more realistic? |

Untitled #3by BudComment: I can see that the furthest two rows of trees have a very slight blue or blue/green color cast to them, while the rest of the image is neutral. The effect works visually rather well in a B/W image to give increased contrast. An interesting technique worth investigation. |

Seineby manavgComment: I like this image. If there was a way to show more detail in the buildings on the left, I'd like it more. |

Calmby senor_kasperComment: A pleasing photo, not atypical of those I enjoy here at DPC. Unless I'm mistaken, there's no land in this image. If the tide is out, that's a clean beach! |

Mt Tamborineby Shadowi6Comment: I like these kinds of images - almost abstract - that have a range of tones displayed in an increasing order. Your title asks me to find the subject, though, as it is not the initial interest object. I can see banding in the sky, though it may be accentuated by my economonitor... |

Grassy Watersby TammsterComment: Very pleasing range of tones here. I appreciate the natural look that doesn't insist on very dark black and white images. |

Knaresborough, UKby p2jvrComment: An amazing amount of detail in this image. I'm pleased that there is so much to see and you've made it possible to do so. |

After the Fireby NordlysComment: I admire the range of tones captured in your image, particularly in the way that the trees really stand out to demonstrate your title. |
