Great image, I really like it. The composition is really well done the angle is perfect. The chest it is laying on is a really nice accent and fits really well. The color scheme of the overall image really works well here. You did a really nice job keeping the texture in the cap also. The image is simple yet extremely effective, it is clean, sharp with vivid, deep, rich color. Should have scored higher imo.

Hi Nathan,

Nice image, The detail in the eye is outstanding. The one thing here is the reflection in the eye, it kept catching mine & I found myself trying to figure out if it was a window or a mirror. The background (purple) tho pleasent was also a bit of a distraction. Getting back to the eye, the deep rich blue color is fantastic. I had a bit of trouble with the crop as a portraiture per-say but thought it is an excellent abstract-portraiture and it fit nicely. I love your use of dof here, it is outstanding as is the exposure. Overall I like the image it is interesting, clean, well composted and sharp as a tac.
