Shuttersby bobnospumComment: Hi Bob,
First let me say you have a nice image here. I really like your use of dof here it is excellent both front & back. I like the way the image is composed, the offset & sideway shutters really make the image work. I like the color balance they all work well together.
The focus seems nice and sharp with plenty of detail & texture. The only distraction I see and it is minor is the first white shutter though out of focus it kept catching my eye. Overall this is a really nice image it is simple yet effective, and it has interest. |

Pensiveby darnokComment: Hi Konrad,
First let me say you have a nice image here. You did a really nice job with the dof & it fits the challange to a tee. I like the composition, your model is posed well and the little bit of tree showing is a nice touch. The focus looks to be tac sharp & has nice detail. The lighting seems to be just a bit off balance mainly in the chest area and left shoulder & arm washing out some of the skin tones. The lighting in the facial area seems better & has more skin tone. I like the catch light & the bit of glare on her lip is a plus. Over all this is a really nice image, with a few minor lighting adjustments this would be fantastic. |

Moving God to bring her backby CarlvanHeerdenComment: Hi Carl,
I like the title and the image is a unique take on this challange & fits well. I like the placement of the elements & the image seems to be in focus. With that being said for me the over all image just seems a little bland to me. Imho there are three things that stuck me instantly. 1) The over all image just seems a bit featureless, A bit more detail in the trees & ground cover would have helped a great deal here. 2) The tonality of the over all image seems very clumped, everything just seems to blend together this inclueds the person kneeling. 3) The sky, it just kept competeting for my eye, this was a direct result of the blending around your main subject & through out the image too contrasty for me. Over all this image has great potential it had that erie feeling of ventureing into the unknown & was well framed. With a few adjustments this image could be dynomite. |
