This is a lovely composition and I really feel the woodland! The framing certainly isolates and accentuates the subject but I think I would have liked to see a little bit more of him.

A pretty subject but, if the door is supposed to be the key subject, it becomes a little overwhelmed by the arches - rather than accentuated.
