What cherish, bladders or chocolate?by paha_lComment: I don't "get" the title at all, or why there's a ring on the chocolate. The photo itself seems to have an overall yellowish tint so that nothing really stands out. The positioning of the chocolate over the edge of the table gives that shadow, which I don't think helps the shot. |

Non-Toxic....by sfarrell23Comment: Are these really chocolate? I like the yellow background, but don't find the set up particularly interesting. |

Hershey Happines!!!by mrwaffles989Comment: I should have taken out stock in Hershey for this challenge! :) Fun idea, but I would have preferred to see it done in a more artistic or creative way. The composition could be improved, I think, but at least including all of the smileys (bottom ones are cut off), and I think the lighting here is very uneven and un appealing for the chocolate. It appears to me that there's an overall purplish cast to the photo |

Got Milk!by awpollardComment: I think you tried to do too much with this one. I like the idea of the "Got MIlk" but I think the point would have come across better with t closer shot of just that yummy looking cake and a cold glass of milk. Also, the yellowish tone here I think makes the milk (or is that a milkshake?), and the mie topping much less appealing. I like you idea, though. |

Dipping Chocolateby Faye PekasComment: I really like the upclose composition on this one. I think, however, it would have been better with a sharper focus and more fluid looking chocolate. |

Chocolate Junkieby BassieComment: If I didn't relate so much to this, I'd find it appalling! :) Good choice to use the b/w. I think the photo and idea are both good, but not great. |

Chocolate Soup: The Only Known Cure for PMSby WildflowerJoyComment: Oh man...good think I have chocolate on hand while scoring this challenge! My daughter had this same exact idea, but I didn't do it (don't have an entry this time.) I think you've done well with this one. What I would change is to have the whole thing in focus and I would fill the frame totally with the chocolate mixture - no bowl showing at all. Would make a cool puzzle that way! |

42 years ... and Countingby photomComment: This looks wonderful! I'm assuming the 42 yrs. reference is for an anniversary or some sort, but I don't think it goes well with the photo. Personally, I would have totally cropped out the rose and the ring and focused more sharply on the cheesecake / pie piece. I like the addition of the berries. That piece of cheesecake or whatever is really pretty and I think it should be on a more plain plate and have it be the main focus of the photo. Maybe with a foirk cutting into it or something? |
