Big fan of this monochrome. Nice composition .. not sure why people insist on seeing the same boring ol' color landscape shots over and over. Congrats on the ribbon, consider it validation.

Can you backlight stars? Wouldn't that imply the light source was coming from behind the stars? (ie the subject). Overall there's not a lot to hold someone's attention in this shot.

I like the idea, i'm a big fan of parallel lines - but this shot lacks contrast..it's more 'grey' than 'black'.
