The Flying Dutchman by gyabanComment: I knew you were trying to realize a 'Dutch' atmosphere with the cheese, tulips and mills (only small detail: these kind of mills you can't find in Holland), and it really looks great and funny. Congrats on the Yellow. |

Dip by h2Comment: Congrats on the Blue, such a great image. And these cream splashes almost give it a 3D effect, really great! |

My precious pooch by MacDonaldComment: She is lovely (and what a lovely name - IMO ceilidh stands for joy, having fun together). With the shallow DOF your eyes are attracted to her face and she is showing some kind of pondering look as if to say: do I really have to wear those bows? :-) |

MOP_7531by MattOComment: Although a great shot, showing the expression on the face of the defender, I really would have liked to see the face of the other player as well, but unfortunately his face is covered by his arms. Technically it is a great shot with good light and focus spot-on. |

"My" Woodland Kingfisher (PAW 8/52)by HarveyGComment: Great image of that Kingfisher, beautiful. Only small thing is that the birds colours are about the same as the background colours, but not much you can do about that in the circumstances.
Wonder how big this bird is, looks bigger than the Common Kingfisher you can spot in Scotland. |

Taroko Gorgeby ciaeagleComment: I think you did a good job getting many details in all areas, both in the dark and the brighter ones, Very hard to bring this huge contrast together in one image. I like the composition, river and road leading you into the scene.
Although I like the bright leaves at the top, you also may consider cropping the image (at the top of the first hill on the left), losing much of the very bright sky.
Nice to read this is Taiwan, when I saw the pic I really thought it was Italy. |
