Didn't get a chance to vote this challenge. I would have given this an 8 - 9. You're doing great work in B&W and repeating lines -- this is an example of your fine work. Leading lines that give us a hint of "cow" just enough but nothing more. Repetative patters and contrast in textures add interest. Nicely done. (just now read the other comments and I see I'm not alone in what works!)

Didn't vote in this challenge but I think I would have scored this a 6. Unique take on the theme - like the linear lines and border finishes it off well. Stong composition in the symetry of the top and bottom and the leading lines offer an interesting balanace - framed just right.

Photo works because of the bottom (respectfully disagree with a few comments) as it provides the needed perspective (without it few would have seen the challenge connection)

Greens pop in the light -- shadow on lower trees disturbs my eye but adds a creative element that breaks up the composition. Like the border and the crop. Scored it a 5 (only because I took a couple of points off because a limited fit with the challenge -- I felt more leaves than wooden)

I, for one, like the purple "pop" against the dual tones as they work together to simplify the story in the busy frame.

extra poiint for the dog :)
good use of b&w (only suggestion: I think I'd like the left most post cropped out as it holds my eye from moving into your well composed shot)
