Nice colors, but seems to lack a focal point and could be sharper. However, trees are a natural for macro photography and you found a good one to practice on.

I continue to wonder where you guys find all these bugs! Anyhow, this little fellow is "middle of the road" to me for voting purposes, and most definitely not "brown ribbon" quality. He looks a little, uh, dead. Try a Jacko string?

Excellent composition, good color. A bit too small. If you use Photoshop as an editing program, explore the Image Size box. And of course, when you shot, use the best, finest pixel capabilities so you have plenty to work with. And a 3 Mp camera should be just fine for DPC.
