The Stairway to ??

A few years ago I spent an ElderHostel week on this pleasant island and enjoyed every minute of it. (I flew in on a light plane in bad weather, and while I have wished for a longer runway a few times in my life, this was the first time I wished for a wider runway) That aside, this stair picture is a good one - and yes, I know where it is - you did the dappled light/shade beautifully and excellent composition (IMO). The boats and the horses pictures seem a bit busy. The boat with the fishtail is good but perhaps one of your other pics will show the Grand Hotel at a better angle. It is a glorious sight!

Good image with elegant colors, shadings. The water is shadowed/illuminated to provide a pefect foil for the green shapes. The partial leaves at the top of the image are just a bit distracting; still a very, very good entry. 8

Veins

Very much like your play of shadows on this leaf. I would suggest that it is just a tiny touch too dark, though. (Yes, my monitor is calibrated) Still, it's an exciting image and you showed good imagination to bring out the beauty in the veins.
