"Atlantic or Pacific"--- Which Will it Be ??by SamTComment: You chose a historic spot for your entry. It might have packed a bit more "Wow" factor if you'd been able to capture a nice bright red truck to temper the quiet tones you have in this image. I like the title as well. |

Where the scenery starts...by erusanComment: Well, you might get 'marked down' for lack of a Road Sign, but this is a lovely photograph with muted colors and that perfect fence leading one down the path. Serene and pleasant. |

Kids on the highway !by eirasiComment: Beautifully photographed. I do wonder if the slanted perspective of the image works for this Challenge. But it does tell a good story. |

A Field Left Fallowby Kha0SComment: I think of this as more of a woodland scene than a fallow field, but the weathered tractor / driver sign is a good one. Perhaps in a different setting it would do even better, or with a different title. I love the brook in the background. Hope you have lots of fun playing with compositions based on it... |

A Perennial Favorite Town Nameby joe_minerComment: Cute sign and it'll draw a lot of laughs. The background is just a touch dreary for the lightheartedness of the sign. Should either be a bit more blurred or tack sharp. Maybe pointing the camera towards the sky would have given a better background. But, after all, you were there, and I wasn't. You take what you can get! |

Waitby mbrenComment: Amusing take on the Challenge. While I like what you did, I wonder if it would have been even more appealing if you had been able to isolate the ball and stop sign without the shrubbery. And maybe make the image a bit crisper. The idea is a good one. Bet you could have fun continuing to develop this theme. |

"Get Your Kicks..."by tfarrell23Comment: A good take on the Challenge. If it was mine, (and I wish it was) with that great sky, I'd probably try to find an angle where the "motel" is not visible. Or maybe include the whole word. Still a nice study in blues and meets the Challenge for sure! |

Waiting for Springby kebmod54Comment: Very nice composition with the neat and tidy farm buildings in the background, the tilled field and grasses in the foreground and the perfect description sign placed well in the frame. You've melded together what could have been a 'piecemeal' composition with that great black 'n white rendition. |
