Garlicby GermaineComment: Yum, they probably grow it in Gilroy. Elephant Garlic maybe?
Okay, to business. Good background, unusual because it's not a 'tabletop' type of thing, I like the dish, but wonder if that beautiful clove could be a little sharper, or lighted differently so we could see the super detail that is hinted at in this nice image. |

Day 10 - Teach Me to Playby photokariangelComment: Remarkably powerful image. I'll bet you debated for a long time before leaving that bit of black to the right lower section. Glad you did, as it makes a perfect coda to your very nice piece. |

Day 10 - B&Wby loriprophotoComment: This is wonderfully sharp and each horse has its own space. While I like it a lot, I think this would really pop with a different crop.
When I moved it around on my monitor, here's what I came up with:
First, remove the sky to just above the treetops
Then crop just to the right of the black horse.
Here you have two sharply focused, nicely grazing horses who make a nice center of interest. Then you do have the other two horses, but that composition doesn't have quite as much interest as they are sort of static, still they also make a peaceful composition.
Again, all this is just a suggestion, and doesn't take away from the pleasant scene you have recorded. |

Day 10 - Enzoby carofoComment: Well, the FIRST right thing you did was put Enzo in the shot. Great composition, pose and expression. I know about as much as you profess to know about duotones, so I'll stay out of that one. |

Catch of the dayby GWMSimonsComment: Powerful jaws might have been a good title as well.
With just a little more post-processing, this would be an outstanding image.
Nice capture. |
