Some Weird Amoeba Colonyby colorcarnivalComment: Oh, yes. weird indeed. Keep 'em coming. Let's see. I see caspar the ghost and a whole bunch of petroglyphs, plus a super composition and nice colorations. Very inventive. |

Foggy Morningby cogeroxComment: Ah, yes. All those rice silos. And the migration just about ready to begin when the migrating birds clean up the rice fields.
Nice image, Roger, it certainly shows to perfection the autumn landscape. |

Bored in rush hourby Yo_SpiffComment: I'm so pleased to see this one. It shows that there are many ways to "see" water and interpret it. This is a stellar example of beauty anywhere! |

water colorby Prime_TimeComment: Interesting, we all want to crop your very nice picture. (My version would be close to a panoramic) but you know, this image tells a beautiful story just the way it is. Crisp, clear, serene, yet very obviously an autumn image with the foretaste of winter on the way. The Canada geese look good from that angle and the gentle wakes they left are perfect for the composition. |

My favorite pondby tinky2Comment: Oh, tinky2, one of these days I will come back down to where you are and see these scenes for myself. This is a beauty and you nailed that bird with the wings open. the mist/haze adds a nice dreamy quality to this image.

Nov 2 - Dishwaterby hajekaComment: Amazing, isn't it, that we can find beauty in the most mundane circumstances. This has a good deal of charm and I'm glad you posted it. As with the others, I agree the black and white treatment was perfect for this interpretation of the Water theme. |

05 - Reflected Treesby ErikVComment: About the only think I can say about this one is: I wish I was there!
Absolutely fabulous capture. The action of the ducks slicing through the golden water leaving the silver wakes is priceless. |

Nov-02-IMG_0425.jpgby JerseyGenieComment: Serene and beautiful.
Now, because I feel like nit picking this morning, I'm going to suggest removing those little gray/white specks in the foreground water and also that power line above the falls. They are minor distractions from a very lovely image.
And yes, skip lunch often and get some more shots of this beautiful area. |
