Well, you get a 10 anyhow, but I would also like this image with the left side cropped out. Concentrate more on the gorgeous bird... Maybe there weren't enough pixels?

This is just lovely. (7) It would be even better if you'd been able to clone out (or crop just a tad closer) to get that yellow in the right hand corner out of their. Sometimes we just don't see these little details until it's too late.

Ah, our friends, the California poppies. Beautiful as is, it would also be good looking if the left part was cropped to concentrate the viewer's attention on the threesome that stands out so perfectly.

I expect that if you had been able to isolate those pigeons a bit from the rather busy background, your score might have been somewhat higher. But still, it's not bad for your first attempt.
