Brooklyn Bridgeby DeniseComment: Gee - this looks like the Brooklyn Bridge? can it be!
Fun interpretation and wonderful clouds just add to the mystery. |

Windows-in-Melbourne-002-2by jomariComment: LOL - yes, window abstracts are fun and crazy. If you really yanked this into an angle, it might even be a wilder abstract - and to truly take the context out of it, crop above the vegetation. (It also might just look weird after doing all that)

Marina Bay Sands, Singaporeby LandzEncaComment: There are so many stories in this image, it's hard to know where to look. first, my compliments on your clouds. Nicely handled, and perfect for the subject matter.
Then, those three towers (I thought they were nuclear cooling towers in the thumbnail). Those stand out: but what are the bunch of structures at the bottom? Including the curved eggish structure with the light under it (is it being boiled?) ---joking---.
Finally, we come to the people on what I'm going to call the pier, staying away from the beastie who is spitting at them. And how about the (presumed) people on top of the towers?)
Is there a point to this long comment? Sure. Fun, strange, kept me interested for a very, very long time. I'm still trying to figure out the relationships. And that's the fun part of a photograph. And yes, I'll come back to it again, and yet again. And to facilitate that, well, it will have to go into my favorites, won't it.
Thank you. |

Dijon_Topby mariucaComment: Dijon_Top - there's a story here. Tell me! This must be Dijon, France - the figures are fabulous, and the angle gives a great deal of mystery to the image. It's a fine picture as is, but the * story* The * why*?
And dang, I can't find it easily on line, so come clean, Mariuca, what are all these figures doing here. Who are they, and are they all eating mustard?
Did they know M. F. K. Fisher?

Downtownby Yo_SpiffComment: Well seen and processed. that blue monster is gobbling up all the little buildings who are being sucked into the maw. Third from the left is resisting - but will lose.

Clinton County Courthouse - Frescoby MarjoComment: LOL - I (mis)read the title as "Fresno" as in Fresno, California and thought - "wow, that town's getting big for its britches!"
Then I saw the actual placename and, ahem, won't comment further on that. (joking)
It's a fine image and nicely composed. |
