This image captures everything I was trying to convey in my photo, but didn't quite succeed at. It's really beautiful in it's subtlety and effectiveness. One of my absolute favorites for this challenge.

My favorite part about this (yes, disturbing) image is that you show me how you did it. I love just about everything you post - but I appreciate the lessons SO FREAKING much. It helps me expand my scope a bit and try new things - usually with tragic results, but there will come a time when I will outscore you with a single picture in a challenge - and it will be an achievement of epic proportions, worthy of buying a round for all. Thanks for the inspiration and sharing the knowledge (and giving me something to strive for!).

This is super cool, except that your eyelashes are far too pretty for the picture. You need to photoshop those suckers down so they are more vengeful and "mariney"

It's a very artistic photo - i just didn't catch the sense of "empty" which was the point of the challenge - would have loved to have seen this in the "abstract with people" challenge

At first glance I was like, WTF? and nearly skipped over it - but then I took a second look and it really drew me in. I think it captures the spirit of the challenge and frankly, the more I look at this - the more it becomes my favorite photo of the challenge. I would hang it on my wall. (which, ironically, is currently empty)

It's a beautiful photograph - I would have rather seen it in the Free Study group, since I didn't see the correlation to the challenge title. Think you've captured an absolutely beautiful scene, though - I'm very envious. This is on my bucket list!
