This is Lac La Biche, Alberta. It's a large lake, can transition from glassy to whitecaps in a heartbeat so you need to be prepared/capable if you decide to head out on these waters. Not many people out & about on the shore at this time of the year - everyone's waiting for it to freeze solid so they can go ice fishing ;)

Congrats on the ribbon! We were in Cabo San Lucas a few years ago and rented a fishing boat for the afternoon. Little did we know it came with a few eager pelicans as well, although not this many!
