I did something similar to this in the 30 second exposure challenge, only thing is I only had to move the hands on a clock. I tried mine in a completely darkened room and was working with a flashlight. It took many tries to get it right so I can appreciate how much effort went in to making this look as great as it does. Good on you for posting your thread, sometimes I wonder how certain effects are done and since this is a place to learn and grow, I'm glad your shared your technique.
