demixingby LevTComment: Fascinating post challenge information - I gave it a good score but did not fully appreciate what I was looking at. I thought most of the effect came from post processing which I found over-the-top. I'm very glad many others were more discerning - whether they knew about granular segregation or not. Sincere congratulations on the top ten. |

Eagle Harborby ti_evomComment: I thought it looked a bit over-processed, but I could not deny the effective shutter speed and composition. 8 from me and not in my top ten if that makes you feel any better LOL I do really like it, though, if you don't mind my saying that. Congratulations on the top ten overall. |

kua_pounding_0037by rider808Comment: A wonderful capture - beautiful shutter speed. Like MaryO I had mixed feelings about the horizon line. Upon reflection, I think I agree with her that the tilt increases the sensation of being pulled in to the wave and image. Congratulations on the top ten. |

Night Symphonyby BrinComment: So beautiful - that emerald green shimmering across the sky must have been something to see! Certainly makes for a gorgeous image. Congratulations on the HM. |

Cosmic Brume by DennisheckmanComment: Superb! Must admit I am one who is a little weary of sky shots as you note in one of your score tracking comments. A little weary of sunrise and sunset landscapes, too. And of slow shutter seascapes. And gorgeous drop macros. And beautifully lit, dramatic studio portraits. I could go on. But the truth is I cannot resist any of these when they are truly well done and this certainly is. Beautiful and worthy. Congratulations on the red, Dennis. |

Rich Harvestby albrixComment: I gave it a 6. Like hahn23 I liked the colors and the fresh, natural look. You are getting some good pointers that I am finding instructive myself. No explanation for all the 2's. |

lady in motionby bvyComment: Oh gosh, I love this one. Gave it a 7 and probably should have gone higher. Really thought it would finish higher. It's beautiful. |
