Now see, despite the gorgeous colors, I think this kind of piled up presentation with the food swimming in gravy or sauce looks awful and is not at all appetizing. Doing this to food is a relatively new practice in restaurants in my experience (like last five years?) and I quickly learned to ask how food is served as well as how it is prepared. Nice color and detail, though :)

Incredible detail here, Kelli. I would love to get something like this! And we have a pass to our wonderful zoo, too - I spend tons of time there and expect to do so even more often now that our granddaughter is old enough to begin to enjoy the animals. Good for you for taking advantage of this.
