A Bird on a Postby karenkComment: A common robin - common in this part of the world, at least - on a common metal stake. And such a welcome sight in the early spring. The detail is perfectly lovely - look at the way those feathers lie - as is the background blur that sets him off. One of my top two. 10 Voted earlier; back to comment. |

Broken Teethby romilComment: An excellent portrait which I gave a top score. I didn't any DNMC for shoehorns in this challenge - would have been too hard to determine. So I gave the benefit of the doubt to every entry on suitability for challenge and just looked at the photos as free studies - loved this. |

African Olive Pigeon (PAW 11/52)by HarveyGComment: I find it quite nicely crisp - that's the first thing I noticed after taking in the very lovely bird himself. I do think it would be nice if you could lift a bit more detail from the shadow areas. |
