Glad for the title - adds much to my enjoyment of this unusual portrait. I wonder about the writing on the wall and the apparent place to sit just by it. Is this like a stations pilgrimage? The goats are a nice touch.

I was here last spring - a magical place, isn't it? I always struggle with the blues and purples in the distance - how much is enough, how much is too much. This is a little purple for me but undeniably lovely in its flow.

Wonderful quotation for the title - the layers here appeal to me very much. Love all the activity - this has the quiet feel of a remote location - I suspect the cries of the gulls produce almost white noise that increases the feeling of isolation and being IN nature.

I love this one. First there is the wonderful geometry and subdued palette of the whole. Then there are the parts: the men and their work, the many interesting architectural and other details, the situation itself (this looks to be a small city apartment in a very industrial area). There is so much to enjoy and explore - almost too much and then again not enough (kind of like a very long but very good book).
