Urban Moonsetby GermaineComment: The moon is so little and the trees so big - for a gal originally from the Southwest and now from the Midwest, this has a definitely tropical feel. |

comes decemberby tnunComment: I didn't need the title to establish the time of year here. Arresting both as a thumbnail and fully opened. I don't try inversions nearly often enough, I think :) |

treeby Ecce_SignumComment: I've come back to finish up enjoying the Square challenge and this is one of those that makes me particularly glad I did. I love the tonal contrast, the composition, the little path, barely visible, up the hill, the grain. The sky suggests a storm - either impending or receding; either way, the mood is great. |

Ducky Daddlesby jomariComment: Particularly nicely framed with the square crop and a great, intent and intense gaze. |

Bark Artby jomariComment: This is the kind of bark I dream of finding . . . great shapes AND colors. What kind of tree is it, do you know? |

whisper.IMG_1608by mariucaComment: Lovely lovely title and also the comment from tnun
Is it okay to say that not having read the title or the comment, my first thought was "snot"? |

Lingering Optimismby PenelopeKComment: Like so many others, I love the title - and the tones which are perfect for an after the season beach shot. Not at all inviting, though - not the sand which looks as it it would do a number on bare feet nor the dirty, gritty strips of plastic. |
