i like the idea and simple execution well done. although its funny etc it doesnt wow me and pull me in, more a fleeting glance.

focus seems slighlty off on the bear, his left(as you look)sleve is in but other bit seems a bit off, maybe a sharpen on the bear would make his fur sing out a bit more. nice tone and id have liked to have seen the badge a bit clearer. wonder if it would have worked better with the bear holding the note so it was square on.

Paper and Pencils

the drawing was to "sketchify" in photoshop needed to be softer and less a photo and sharp for me, i did not like the tonal difference between the bright "drawing" and the screwed up paper, the discarded paper and pencils have to much of a staged feel, i know it was staged of course but shouldnt feel that way to me. good idea but it didnt wow me, infact i scored it a 4 which may have been harsh but i felt it was a little gimmicky. sorry, but honesty is the best policy Giles.

At full shred there's a famous French black and white film called coffee and cigarettes this is where the shot comes from the black and white and the check pattern etc :) pleased with this in my top 5 :)

doesnt scream tilt shift at me, trees have the lean in of a wide lens and there is no apparant focal or dof plane? im guessing bear music and his new lens baby composer, i think its the top really out of focus bit that leads your eye up there and away from the little man, who is a little soft. ilike the painting feel of it with using an obvious paintify effect, 6
