Check Mate!by jmleliiComment: Are the lines you're using the lines of squares on the board or a line of pieces in a row? If the board squares, back off and get several leading up to the king. If a row of pieces, elevate your camera above the board where that line is more obvious. P.S. Your board has a water ring on it. :-> |

Old Railby cpanaiotiComment: Not a bad pic, but I don't really see the parallel lines. Are you saying parallel lines of the sides of they rail? Why not show both rails. If you want to emphasize the parallel lines of the ties, why not get down closer to their level. |

Bike Pepsi Parallel Spokesby gaboComment: Bike spokes are not parallel. Try attaching 2 reflectors to the wheel and spin it with light shining on the reflector, result would be 2 parallel paths of light. Keep trying. |

LIGHT LINESby GOLNAZZZComment: A line of light, OK. But what's it leading to? Put more subject to see or lighten the background if there is something there not visible. |

DP CHALLEnGEby thumperComment: Interesting, but I think this could be done more creatively. You have lots of lines, but not many parallels. Try a different angle, rather than straight on. This might have looked good on a lighteer background with light from the side to show up the parallels. |

Toothpasteby becloComment: Not bad, but not terribly interesting either. Are your using the parallels to direct attention to the toothpaste or from the toothpaste to the brush. If the toothpaste is involved, try to get it where the transparent stripe is up and lets light into the whole blob. |

Parallel Universeby Dr.ConfuserComment: I thnk I understand your reasoning on this, it just doesn't go with the greater majority in this challenge. Interesting pic, but I'm not able to understand enough to give a very high rating. |

Parallel Reflectionby luckycharmsrockComment: Excellent photo regardless of the challenge. I think the parllel aspect might be emphasized if you cropped this into a panoramic style shot. |

Falling in Lineby nrootComment: If you really want this to image to grab the eye, level the lines of the blinds and crop in close on the left side. The crack of light in the door should be exactly perpendicular to the lower edge of the image. Nice concept. |

How many parallel lines do you see?by cristiano79Comment: Lots of lines. I think this would have more impact if the camera were elevated a bit more and/or the light were a little lower to make the shadows a little more stark. Good try. |
