This one was part of a larger shoot. There's a more abstract shot in my portfolio and I just posted a more "clinical" image in my workshop. These were filled with diesel fuel in the 1930's to early 1960's and lit to lay down a blanket of smoke to retain heat in citrus orchards during a freeze. Very dirty and unhealthy practice that is not missed in Southern California!

Reflecting water drops are almost a photographic cliche...but not this shot. Beautifully executed.

Meant to be slightly futuristic, but other-worldly as well. Two or three shots in every challenge stop me in my tracks as thumbnails. This was one of them.
