Old Friendsby MaryOComment: It has potential, but I'm not a fan of the processing, and the composition might have been improved by walking to the right a bit to have the dog by the lady's side as a companion, rather than in front of her and taking up more of the frame than she does. |

The Artist by MargaretNetComment: I love the way his eyes and face position almost match the face emerging from the abstract shapes in the painting. Excellent job capturing this, with perfect exposure and light, and the slight bit of softness and grain just makes it raw and gritty and real. |

Indigenous Peopleby hahn23Comment: I think a longer lens would have made the most of this scene - including the man on the left's whole body is a good move, including the regular dressed people and the pop-up canopies is a bad move.
A tighter composition with shallower depth of field would have made the most out of their traditional dress and ceremonial gear, without the junk. |

Candid Textingby DCrest01Comment: I think this would have been stronger without the motion blur, and I'm not a fan of the processing style. |

monsieur….madameby mariucaComment: I like it a lot. Excellent study of shapes and shadows, impeccably timed and composed. The toning comes across as sort of purple on my screen, but I the impression I get from that is it's the way Provia slide film looks under certain lighting conditions and exposure levels. |

the sharpenerby tnunComment: Bold use of mostly-white tones here. Almost a surreal take on the scene but gritty at the same time with the grain in the midtones and shadows. |

us and themby TiberiusComment: Well captured, excellent light and composition and just enough depth of field to include the background for reference and interest but not make it too busy. |
