Very nice. The amount of detail you've caught in the galaxy is great, but the stars are just starting to look blurred - I'm guessing about 1 minute exposure on a ~24mm equivalent lens? I really like how you've got what looks like clouds in the water in the foreground.
I love night photography, but I'm not very good at it yet, plan to experiment more every time there's a clear sky around the new moon time though.

Nice moment you've captured here, but I think the edge blur is a little strong for my taste. Color tones and composition are very good though, and that's a super cool dog - my neighbors have a female one that always managed to get out and comes over to tease our dogs when they're inside the fence.
