I know you know, but the focus is on the rear bird. As the fore-bird is so central to your composition and also obviously has something to say, I would have preferred the focus to be on it instead.

Dynamic composition, but it makes me want to see more! I want to be able to see the feet, the wing tips and the end of his tail! Maybe this was your intention - hmmm. Well it made me look longer...

Beautiful and sharp, great detail in the feathers and the exposure is well done. The technicals are well looked after in this shot, but I feel the composition could have been more exciting - wings up instead of down maybe, or flying toward instead of away. I appreciate the difficulty in even getting this shot in the first place - well done.
