Whispers in a Midnight Garden...by RKTComment: Very mysterious - maybe too mysterious. There's a lot of interpretation possible in that background - it makes for an interesting image, if somewhat confusing if you don't take a lot of time over it. |

Stand Aloneby payambComment: I really like the glow on the minaret and the brightness on the sand. The contrast with the dark walls is very strong - possibly could have been pulled down a little in photoshop. It's a very striking picture, though. |

Backwater Bridgeby unohuuComment: I try to take a liberal view of how a photo fits the theme, but I don't see a holy place here. It may be that the atmosphere, setting, quiet or another element of the scene makes this spot holy for you, but it doesn't come through for me in the picture. |

Barrierby littlegettComment: The only real color I see here is red. Its usual complement is green, and I don't see any of that. The water is nearly black, with very little blue. A nice composition, but it doesn't seem to me to fit this challenge. |
