Great silhouette of an unusually shaped church. Is the sky really that yellow, or did you use an odd white balance adjustment or post processing to get it?

Brilliant colors and cloud textures. I don't know about holy, but it sure is awesome. I'd like to see this printed as a 16X20 or larger poster!

Nice concept, beautiful subject. I find the light spillover distracting - after appreciating the excellent texture of wood and metal I asked myself, couldn't they have shut the door?

Great capture of the expressions on the women's faces. It must be a fascinating homily, or they posed very well. Nice capture of the church background too.

I like the way this angle emphasizes the tall cupola and spire. You got a great sky, and there's enough light on most parts of the church to bring out the texture of the stone.

That golden lighting makes the shot. Correcting the white balance would have blown it. Looks like you used a starburst filter?

Is she real or a statue? I've never seen a statue in a pose like that one, but I've never seen a real woman who looks so much like stone. I especially like the contrast between the monochrome stone and the colorful flowers.

Nice lighting, and a nice view of the rest of the town. I especially like the row of cottages (is that what those white buildings are?).

The dark, brooding feel does give a sense of spirituality and mystery - but I'd like to get a better view of the undoubtedly interesting old stone work. Maybe a touch lighter, or a bit less contrast?

St. John's is a very pretty church, and this is a nice rendering. Just a bit pedestrian for a challenge; it would be great on the cover of the church bulletin.
