Synthetic Boulevardby zeuszenComment: great lighting and color, obvious technical achievments, also notable dramatic use of negative space. But what is impressive is that the subject is probably in a "pose" or position, rather, that is either perfectly directed, or a result of tremendous patience and timing. either way, its great. |

Floatingby ImagineerComment: troublingly good; the placement of the birds adn chasing figure with the shadow is perfectly chaotic. Such great contrast- and equally good texture of the masonry mixed with the birds and perdon. very good. |

StreetShadows.jpgby kdkaboomComment: This is an absolutely stunning shot. you have the nice crisp lines on the right, The imposing darkness in teh center, and the curvy, bubly white reflection adn sunshine on the left. The lampost ties it all in, and makes it great.
This shot might look good on an overcast day, or in the rain, or from a lower persective with pedestrians in the shot. I hate leaving comments that say something like "could you take that again without the Nun in the shot" or "try taking a shot of that eclipse with a kx129 filter" because , for obvious reasons, the person may not be able to get back there. But you probably live near or in manhattan and can get back to that spot if you wish. It might make a nice poster. |

Red Barnby JoziComment: there is a wonderfully stark cleanliness about your photos, this is a great example there are a lot of blue red brown gray shots, that really is prevalent. I like your emotion in the shots too. nice work. |

Watching the fish......relaxing hobbyby suemackComment: vastly underrated. THe focus, flash on the cat adn fish are superb. If you let your eyes go a little blurry you really have nice composition. I just had to comment because I have been at the bottom before. You show good creativity and that is much better than a formulaic wonk! |

midnight in the gardenby grigrigirlComment: grief is a dangerous muse, but perhaps not as bad as self pity. you have captured what is such a vibrant part of what photography does best- taking a real emotion and making it live beyond the exposure- much like our memories and feelings live beyond the subject's life. very nice. |
