At first I though- Cape Cod?- but then, the exotic nature came through. The subtle horizon is done very well; the trees in the shot create the feel the swamp, the cool air, the ultramarine bleeds into cerulean, then to cobalt in the foreground- I wonder if photogs intentionally go for the blues in the skies they shoot, whether it is a subconsciously done or not- this is great. and finally the lighting on the right side provides a warmth and gives context- I love when emphasis is derived through warmth of the color values rather than pure light and dark and foreground focus issues.

This I feel was a bit underrated, but it was a free challenge- you've got that great sky that you do so well, reflected perfectly-but what really sells it for me is the green and gold and the curvature of the land.

I live in a stone house, about 100 years old; there are all manner of things etched into it- this shot sums up a lot of it for me, the patterns of nature- circular, loosely patterned- within the context of man-made square and angular rectangle shaped stone.

Looks like a Mothers Against Drunk Driving ad- all you need is a set of car keys in the shot- well done- well executed- in fact- perfection! another good title might be "absolution"
