The composition is great, the bottom lower left has perfect values and you included just the right amount of rifle stock. There is a feeling of motion, soft focus? on the steel ball of the bolt handle. That may result in technical demerits by the voting populace.

This is my type of shot- a painting's quality, salmon sun drenched stucco, foliage and wispy sky- the color blue is stellar; two or three areas of interest- even the low hanging dark clouds in the long distance appear to be water at first glance- and that makes it very interesting to the viewer.

That being said- when I rave about a shot- that sometimes does not bode well for the shooter, as I overlook some "traditional" aspects that voters seem to notice and penalize. But I go with feel over technicality any day of the week and twice on Sundays.
