Silhouetted trees just do something for me- and the scene is currier and ives mixed with Brueghel, an almost primitive layout. very nice.

Great inclusion of the distant trees, like graveyard fence posts. The vignetting with trees is also great, as is the icy lake telling the story.

Its kind of funny to see you field questions about light sources and shadows. As well as anyone ever could, you have attention to detail, and the images are fantasy- don't people know about faerie light?

I think its very interesting, the detail resonates out the longer you look- people don't have time to stop and absorb- but I did, and I am glad you didn't muck this up trying to make it more "popular."
