Great movie, even the remake. The vignetting feel creates a bit of panic claustrophobia, but I like the textures.

the man is correct. There is such wonderful exuberance in the expression, and then the second layer, a pastoral background feel bringing the viewer, or at least me, to an age of farming and a simpler life. For that, the shot its one of the best in the challenge in my eyes.

Looks like someone rolled up the carpet. I like the way it transitions into the mysterious background, like a misty and incomprehensible mountain scape.
