I like the processing and the light is excellent. However, the composition doesn't utilize the best features of this model, the long torso, to the advantage of the final product. Perhaps a wider shot would allow the viewer to take in more of the model, without, as it is now, bouncing from her compelling face and eyes down to the hand and belt and then back again, never allowing focus or rest. A bit more of the scene and this would highlight more of the strengths of your image.

The eyes are nice behind the mask;
I like this shot and understand it to be a psychological thriller of a shot- a chance for the viewer to imagine the tragic circumstances of tale. Perhaps for some, the Halloween movie style mask does conjure slasher rather than psychological horror- and that would be a shame to pigeonhole a shot like this in that way.

I too, cannot look at this shot without wincing a bit- the fire, the hair, the wax... However, your composition is terrific, and you have achieved a truly pleasing glow with the choice of black and white.
