Black Jacketby sfaliceComment: I think this shot is a superb candid. I mean you can think for hours about why all those guys are looking at that one guy... I mean, are they thinking- where the hell did you find the last leather members only jacket? I the guy in the hat saying i will trade my "unite" hat for that jacket? or are they playing chinese checkers? you see- hours! |

Black Swanby qnjtComment: I like it. I especially dig the way the ice meets water and the ice looks like polished chrome andthe stump adn reflection are great. The swan could be a touch sharper adn more...saturated? black? |

Winning Shot or Window Breaks by JPRComment: Very well composed. almost too creative. very nice job on that, it seems like a color turned black and white deal with too many shades of gray and lacking strong contrast- the blacks don't seem "black enough" and that is the challenge, no? but hell of a shot nonetheless. |

Black Jackby MWittComment: Very nice color on the card. Heres something to think about though. there is a natural light feel on the coins and that does not aid the feel of the shot - which is formal and nighttime, i.e. casino where there are no windows, etc. but that jake is beautiful. |

Blackjackby rickhd13Comment: I like the texture on the cards. That gives great depth- my only thought is that the cards fill too much of the frame. perhaps if they only took up half or 2/3 it might be a little more pleasing |

Spirit of Hamleinby KoriyamaComment: isn't it "Hamelin"- anyway, very interesting shot- it could also be entitled " snake charmer's apprentice" I like the texture adn the center blow out. Way to keep those blacks black too, instead of brownish. Perhaps shoot the shot slightly from above. |
