This has a great feel of a summer lake adn the stillness of glass. There is a remarkable feeling of isolation, fear, danger and yet calmness. It makes you want to hop forward onto the float and just do a plunge over the back slowly. There is also a subtle religious overtone that is only solidified by the light. Another great shot Mona.

there is such a feeling of movement to this shot and it is so alfred hitchcock that is is really nice. I hate to say it but the airplane is not really necessary here and the stark negative space would be just fine. But what the hell, anytime you can compose a beautiful shot and have a plane fly through the picture, I say go for it.- and i guess upon further review the birds do appear to be escaping from the path of teh plane- and yes motion is derived from that so- even better than before!

maybr its my monitor but this doesn't look natural it looks liike a bad saturation correction. Being the title, it ruins an otherwise great composition in my favorite pastoral style.

I love the phallic nature of this shot. the purple weeds and green grass are a nice touch - the windows look touched up a bit and should be sharper.
