the midnight cup of teaby TiberiusComment: I liked this a lot and the title makes it even more poignant. This is an existential photograph. Life, with open eyes.
Yet, there is something missing, perhaps I needed more space on both sides of the shot….the eyes wonder too much and the attention is lost.

lifetimes by jagarComment: I played a lot with this image on my screen and concluded that for me it would be far more poignant if the third upper part would be cropped. This exercise might fall into the so often mentioned adage "less is more". The absence of the hand makes the image incredibly powerful.
By the way, I gave it 8. |
