Duck Funeralby GeorgesBogaertComment: I was your 9 Georges. I find this piece of documentary fascinating. With a color palette to match it.
That's how they dry them and probably smoke them form the fumes of the cars. The background is amazing also. |

like back in the summer of '69 by NeatComment: For what's worth, a 10 from me.
It's an ocean that I've not seen but a joy that I still experience, just like in '69 with a tiny element of danger of all the years to come. |

Cinema obscura. 30 Minute, 1800 second exposureby bob_bobskiComment: Mighty interesting photograph. I knew exactly what it was being a fan of Abelardo Morell.
It was 7 from me, not more because the bright colors did not take me into the "obscure" realm and became too technical.
Wonderful exercice. |

what we leave behindby NeatComment: I much prefer the outtake. This one, although I marked it 7, left me unclear about my own reaction. And it's a bit wobbly itself - things are either curved or straight, my eyes are searching for something to grasp in a sea of maroonish sepia. This is of course my own reading as blunt as I could have put it but the image itself was among one of my highest marked in this challenge.
The outtake has extraordinary power and it's like a grave piece of music. You could have posted it in the "painting" challenge although I prefer to relate to its musicality. |
