This image becomes very humorous once one reads its title. But:

I experience more and more saturation with these type of photos, as interesting or beautiful as they are, they tend to be "post Gerhard Richter".
Perhaps a better place for them would be in a different kind of challenge, with a pure bend towards mixed media. In which case they would get the proper consideration.
This is by no means a criticism to this particular image but to a trend that I saw for the month and a half that I am on this site, therefore, in all fairness, I will copy and paste this comment to all related photos.
Please do not consider me rude or with primitive tastes. I just want to do justice, at least in my mind, to each image and appreciate it for its uniqueness in the context in which it is presented.

Johanna, it is a picture of one of MY pictures. More attenuating circumstances. But I understand the controversy. Should have made it clear somehow and not light candles to an idol.

Oh, I dare say I know where this tree is! Sounds totally ridiculous but I have the eerie feeling sometimes that I took a picture of every tree shadow in the Park! Irresistible!

Great. 10. To me this image goes beyond "the lighthouse", "the lonely tree", "the cat", "the dog" .... touching the core of the idea. Again, just like a Conrad story.
