What a fun shot this must have been to shoot. I love the use of desautration in this shot and the focus is well done also. The soft focus is show in some spots and the clarity in others. The ony thing that really gets to me is her feet. I don't know what it is, it's not the placing of them, my kids stand like that all the time, but they look almost undefined, no toes or something, can't tell if she's wearing stockings or they were just blurred out, but it really takes away for me. A 9

Natural Woman

How beautiful! The look, the graytones, the crop. So well done, the only thing I would like to see is just a bit higher crop on her head, bring the whole hairline in. The use of negative space is wonderful. I can't really fault the cropping because the overall shot is so well done. A 10

Golden Light

What a wonderful shot. I love animal shots to begin with and you really captured a feeling here. The motherly warmth and the innocent child. The light is a bit harsh on the right but the soft focus works so well with it, helps diffuse it so it doesn't really hurt. A 10

The Kozak

This is a great shot. The expression, the look of being captured without being posed. I love the candid looks. I would have liked to seen the horses head as I love horses but this shot does very well without that. a 10

Parrot Portraiture

I love Macaws and this one is no exception. Almost any animal shot will automatically get extra points from me. I'm going to have trouble in the wildlife challenge, LOL!

But for this shot, wonderful expression on the macaw but the light is bit bright and the shadow behind his eye is just every so slightly distracting but not enough to make me lower the score from the original 10 I have given it!

I love this shot, It reminds me of a picture that was in my parents living room while I was growing up, only it was a full ship, that is my only complaint, it got cut off on both ends, top and bottom. But the shot itself, I can't complain, a 10

How fun! The look, the soft focus around the girl, the clairity on the gun, so perfect, the black and white works so well, just a slightly tighter crop on the right, just a touch would make it beyond perfect. A 10

This is so beautiful! The mist to the right is so perfect, a wonderful way to be lead out of the shot. Leading in with the clarity of the beach, leading around to the misty water. The black and white is well chosen for this shot but I have to wonder what the color looks like. No matter, a 10, no question

The Splash of a Kiwi

I would have called it a Kiwi Jellyfish! That is what it reminds me of. I love the color, the look, the wonderful clarity of the overall shot. There is a touch of over brightness on the right side in the water but it doesn't really hurt the overall shot. A 10

If not, you have done a wonderful job of imitating his style. This is a great shot, good color, great contrast and great composition. I give this a 10, based on the wonderful work, the only thing that would put it over the top if she was looking for her shoulder just a bit ;)
