OMG! He's beautiful! I'm assuming it's a he, sorry if not. This is a great shot, the expression, the backdrop, the lighting, the only thing missing is the POP to make the colors really stand out. Maybe a slight adjustment in Levels or curves to really make it bark out! A 9

I like this shot, the lighting, the pose, the background, all classic portrait. But can you guess the one thing that bothers me? I bet you can because you've probably heard it a couple of time, what happened to that pretty tail on the doggie on the right? :) A 9

OOOOOOOOooooooh! I love this shot. The stance, the intense look, the backdrop. The only thing that bothers me is the light. Casts a pink hew on the dog's white parts and yes my monitor is calibrated. :) A 9

What a face! THe eyes tell the whole story don't they? THis could be a great shot if the background was more solid and a different color, the blue really fights with the gray for attention and the lighting was better, the light here comes off a bit harsh and unforgiving. Also the focus seems off just a bit, not much, but just a bit, especially in the eyes. A 4

Nice effect on the shot but the dog is such a small part of the overall picture it ends up fighting for your attention. The lack of details on the dog is also a bit of a let down. A 4

Wow, look at that sharp, noisy grass, that sharp, noisy, yellow grass, oh wait, is there something else there? Why yes there is, a very handsome dog playing with his/her ball! Okay, sorry for the teasing, couldn't help myself, as you can probably guess, I find the grass in this shot completely overpowering and not helpful in any way. Some adjusting of the colors to turn it green would really help and a much tighter crop. The light is a bit harsh and I'm not sure if you actually sharpened it or not, if you did, it's a bit too much. A 4
