I love shoppingby DonaldComment: Wow, nice shot! Is that a falcon? To bad about the background and the flash light on the bird tough. It really brings out the blue and tan on the bird but washes out the white just a touch. This has great potential with the right backdrop. A 6 |

mr23$001.jpgby ChinabunComment: This is just the cutest shot! The flash is a bit bright but the subject is perfect! Reminds me of my shot:
It's hard to go wrong with kittens. :) |

A fawn in my yard... my new petby RasaiComment: Hahhaa, almost got me there! Until I saw the reflection on the hind quarter of the deer and upon closer inspection realized just how flat the little guy was :) Nice. A 5 |

Spotted Sleepingby afarlandComment: So sweet! One tired pooch!
Good choice on the black and white, the sheets and comforter don't fight with the dog for attentiont hat way. There seems to be some jpeg artifacts on his head on the right, a bit of a hot spot and the overall shot seems slightly out of focus. Perhaps you were going for a soft focus and that would be great around the edges but I would like to see just a little more detail on the dog itself. Was at a 5, am going to bump to a 6 |

Chocolate Frostingby ngremourComment: Dang! I wrote a comment and it disappeared! Darn SERVER!!!
Anyway, see if I can remember most of it here. I love the candid shot but there are a few distractions here. The orange collar really wants to draw me to that side of the shot, great for seeing your dog at night or for others to see him but bad of pictures. The color of the dog is a bit flat, maybe a slight adjustment in levels or curves and the backdrop could be more solid or maybe just a different angle so it doesn't come out at his nose, LOL :) A 5
(hope it takes this time, highlighting and Copying just in case :) ) |

Emilia in the windowby lastefComment: Emilia is beautiful! What a lovely expression on her face. This has the potential to be a great shot with just a few adjustments. A tighter crop on the right, removing the harsh light from the window and most of the plant, cloning out the black bar between her ears and that spot above her right ear and just a slight adjustment to the levels or curves would probably make this shot really stand out more. As is a 5 :) |

Chocolate Eyesby redskymedicComment: Awww, what a face! This shot has great potential, take the dog, remove the distracting background (mostly the building or make it all brick building) and get a different light source other than the flash to fill i or the direct sunlight (not quite sure which is in use here) and you have a great contender. As is a 5 :) |

Ty Kittyby JordanZComment: Aw, cute! Love the big eyes but it looks like you might have used a filler flash? Great detail but the light is a bit harsh on the cat's eyes and the white part and his whiskers on the left disappear into the background. The border is just a bit heavy for my taste. Maybe if you could seperate the cat from the back and work with them on different layers so they dont' blend so much on the right? Had at a 5 but bumping to a 6 |

Sleeping Beautyby RosskoComment: Ohhhhhhh, so cute! Love puppies and that fat little belly just begging to be scratched and rubbed! Thisis a wonderful overall shot with just a few issues to me. One is the carpet, the pattern is very nice but for this shot, ends up being very distracting. I like the dark in the upper part and I'm guessing natural light from a window? Very nice again but a few hot spots on the dog, mostly the feet and upper back. Had at a 5 but going to bump to a 6 |

ICUby thefotogComment: How adorable! I love calico kitties and this one is no exception though I would like to see more of it! :) Cute idea, nice candid but the tree in the middle is very distracting, maybe if you cropped more on the right, making the tree the right edge, taking the kitty just off center but with my magic envelopes, it looks very nice. Had at a 5 but am going to bump to a 6 for cuteness and nice capture! |
