A familiar scene for this challenge - a boat on the water. The toning is nice and warm, and the paddle was just at the right spot to add interest, including the weed attachment. The distant shore adds to the layering effect and probably could have worked better without the glimpses of the sky. A nice serene mood.

A difficult shot through a window of a plane I assume. There seems to be some kind of reflection in the upper center. The color are over saturated and there is a purple vignette around the edges. I thought at first to try B&W but there isn't enough tone variations to make it work. Nice idea but difficult to make it work.

My first impression was that this image is over saturated but in this particular image it looks OK. The simplicity of the composition is great but not particularly original. The sky adds a lot of interest. Overall a nice image but short of being great. Maybe overlaying short exposure of the boat over the long exposure with smoothed out waves would turn a nice image into a great image.
